DC FRZ

The DC metro area has one of the most rigorously safeguarded and closely monitored airspaces across the United States.

The designated no-fly zone, known as FRZ, spans a 7-mile and a 15-mile radius originating from the Ronald Reagan Airport. Any aerial navigation including drones within these perimeters demands prior authorization and adherence to a stringent application process. Consequently, gaining clearance becomes an arduous and costly process, particularly for real estate listings situated within this restricted zone.

We have created this map to help you determine if your upcoming listing falls within the restricted zone. If your listing is inside the yellow area, we are unable to operate a drone for it.
